Smoking in public places exposes non-smokers to health related hazards. It is the responsibility of the company to protect employees from unnecessary exposure to smoking hazards, hence the prohibition of smoking at the company construction site.
“No smoking” signs shall be placed at points on site to constantly remind personnel that smoking on site is prohibited.
There shall be no smoking in company boats at any time.
The company in pursuit of its commitment to the health of its personnel shall discourage smoking during:
- Working hours
- On board boat
- Management shall organize site lectures on smoking related illness by the company retainer doctor
