All employees of LUMKALT ENERGY LIMITED shall be medically certified fit and remain so throughout the duration of employment.
The company shall maintain medical insurance policy for all personnel against any liability that may result in the event of occupational hazard or, impairment to health resulting from work assignment.
It is the policy of the company to periodically conduct structured health risk assessment on all its workers. This program is geared towards identifying, evaluating and controlling work-related health hazards that could expose workers to high-risk hazards. Thus workers:
- Whose jobs expose them to ionizing radiation through company business must be examined every 6 months, or even less, depending on the degree of radiation exposure;
- Whose jobs exposed them to heat or cold must be examined;
- Exposed to dusty environment, who need radiological examinations of the chest for signs of dust-induced respiratory disorder must be examined frequently;
- Working in noisy environment require regular audiometric test to check the effect on the hearing thresholds.
- Source of food and water must be hygienically certified.
- Must be adequately protected against health hazards.
The company’s retainer clinic below shall handle all routine medical and medical emergencies. The company shall have a retainer clinic close to the project location on commencement of the project
