The company is committed to the safety and security of persons directly or indirectly involved in the execution of the project and; ensuring adequate protection and preservation of the work environment.
It is therefore mandatory that:
- Environmental aspects of the project shall be established by carrying out an environmental impact assessment to determine potential environmental hazards in the project and ensure adequate controls are put in place before commencement of the project.
- Oil pollution shall not emanate from the execution of the project.
- No oil spill shall result from the project activities.
- Containment measures are place in event of accidental spill, which shall remain within tolerable industrial limit.
